DIANA  LYN SUSSMAN (Book, Music, Lyrics)

As a young child, Diana acted in several television commercials Throughout high school, college (Duke University), and law school (University of Pennsylvania Law School), she performed in and directed various plays and musicals. Despite grinding out those 100 hour work weeks as a commercial litigation attorney, Diana never lost her love for theater.

Using her ear for dialogue, Diana spent Covid lockdown writing a romcom play called Fickle Fate, a semi-finalist in the NYC She Arts Festival, which explores destiny in dating, whether people can date avatars, and what it means to be human.

She also wrote a middle grade mystery about a twelve year old girl who thinks spies have moved in next door called The Neighbors’ Secret, which was released for publication by EverImagine Books on May 21, 2024.  This is the first book in a three book series.  In 2024 it was named a finalist in the pre-teen fiction section of the American Fiction Awards.  In 2023 it was a finalist for the Tassy Walden Award in the middle grade category. Her novel glorifies the role of female spies in winning the American Revolution and female empowerment. Likewise, she sees her collaboration with the Matriarchs as an opprtunity for female empowerment.  Diana is thrilled to be a part of this team of amazing, talented women who she is fortunate to call her close friends.
